Callum graduated from the University of Bristol in 2025 with an MScR in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, specialising in the photochemical ring-expansion of pyridines to azepines under supervision of Professor Jonathan Clayden and Professor Basile Curchod. Callum is now carrying out a PhD with Dr Adam Clayton, Professor Steve Marsden and Professor John Blacker in digitalising the development of chemoenzymatic cascades under continuous flow, with industrial collaboration at AstraZeneca, CatSci and UCB. Callum also has an MSc in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at the University of Central Lancashire (2020), and five years experience in industry working as an analytical chemist in API (active pharmaceutical ingredient) and drug product at Wockhardt, Eurofins Professional Scientific Services and at GSK Stevenage. In Callum's spare time he enjoys running, football and playing video games.
